In 2018, Typhoon 21, or Typhoon Jebi, the most powerful typhoon in 25 years, slammed Osaka. Every summer, typhoons hit Japan, and the country is well-prepared for such natural calamities. But the one that happened this time posed a significant danger and did so much damage that it submerged Kansai International Airport (KIX). What a calamity! Also, for the first time, it knocked off electricity in my neighborhood. But don’t worry, I’m completely protected!
